Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas is the largest dance music festival in North America, drawing roughly 525,000 attendees across three nights each May at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Insomniac Events founder Pasquale Rotella started EDC in Los Angeles in 1997; the festival relocated to the Nevada desert in 2011 and has not looked back. Nine themed stages (kineticFIELD, circuitGROUNDS, cosmicMEADOW, bassPOD, and five more) run simultaneously alongside art cars, carnival rides, and fireworks, making the speedway grounds a city unto themselves for a long weekend. The signature ritual is the sunrise set: kineticFIELD closes each morning as daylight creeps over the infield, a moment that has become shorthand for the festival's identity.
2026 marks the 30th anniversary edition (May 15 to 17), with Hardwell, Charlotte de Witte, Armin van Buuren, and The Prodigy among the headliners. Insomniac has streamed EDC free every year since 2019, expanding from 4 channels to full 8-stage coverage in 2021. This year brings 6 curated feeds plus the first YouTube multiview option, building on the 2023 stream that logged more than 1 million unique viewers. Full sets go up on YouTube after the festival ends.

Every edition has been free with no paywall, and full artist sets are uploaded to YouTube afterward, making the Insomniac channel the de facto archive.
